Advice on a new road bike

Don't buy a frame size, buy a position. We first determine your ideal geometry — after that, you know exactly which bike and which size you are looking for.

The search for the ideal road bike begins with a thorough bike fitting. A new road bike is a considerable investment, and the wrong size cannot be "fitted away". During a fitting beforehand, we determine your ideal stack and reach, crank length and handlebar width.

Correctly determining the frame size is a complex process in which body height is merely the starting point. We use our extensive database to compare not only the frame size, but also the specific geometries of various road bike brands, so that the handlebar–saddle distance is optimised for your body build.

You leave with a concrete geometry report with which you can objectively compare any brand and model — independent advice, we do not sell bikes.

Within the cycling industry, we work with numerous brands and partners. Because we are independent and do not sell bikes ourselves, we refer you specifically to the brand that suits your position — with the right frame size and matching components.

A functional analysis of your flexibility and joint mobility is the starting point. This way, we tailor the cycling position to what your body allows today — and not the other way around.
