sEMG muscle activation analysis

Muscle.flow

The power of every muscle fibre.

Every movement, every muscle contraction and every asymmetry is measured objectively. With Muscle.flow, our revolutionary sEMG-based muscle activation analysis, we map in real time how and when your muscles work during the pedal stroke.

Muscle.flow reveals which muscle groups dominate, where overload occurs and where muscle activation falls short. We do this by strategically combining surface electromyography (sEMG) — an advanced technology that measures the electrical activity of muscles — with biomechanical insights.

Muscle.flow

What do we measure?

01

Detecting asymmetries

At a glance, we see whether your left and right legs contribute equally to your power — muscle by muscle.

02

Injury prevention

Chronic complaints often arise from subtle muscle imbalances. Muscle.flow helps identify them early.

03

Analysing power distribution

Measure how the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes and calf muscles work together and whether certain muscles are overactive or underdeveloped.

Insight

Why does this matter?

Muscles that work at the wrong moment or too hard cost power and increase the risk of injury. By measuring muscle activation objectively instead of estimating it, we can tailor your position to how your body really moves.

Sample case: Jarno Widar

With top talent Jarno Widar we applied Muscle.flow during his bikefit. We were able to detect subtle differences that only became visible under effort, and correct them on the spot. Muscle.flow shows exactly which muscle groups are responsible and how to correct it.
