Pioneering with Movant and 4D technology
The Center for Health and Technology (CHaT) of the University of Antwerp developed the 4D4ALL scanner together with the RevArte rehabilitation hospital in Edegem. Instead of a classic static scan, fourteen scanning modules with multiple cameras work together to capture the shape of the moving body — 50,000 measurement points in a matter of seconds.
According to Prof. dr. Steven Truijen, this approach delivers a far more accurate measurement than conventional methods. The 4D technology — 3D imaging plus the dimension of time — is a world first that attracts international researchers.
The collaboration serves research, not commerce: together with Prof. dr. Steven Truijen and dr. Dirk Vissers, Kevin and Michael study bikefitting at university level and build knowledge to help cyclists move without discomfort. Those insights feed directly into our fittings.
